While on maternity leave with my second baby, I realized how difficult it was to find high-quality, classic boys clothing that felt both playful and polished. Everything was either too trendy or too basic. I wanted boys apparel that felt timeless, durable, and ready for real life — fishing trips, family photos, golf outings, and backyard adventures.
So I designed it.

Built in my kitchen
Saltwater Boys Co. was bornI while I was on maternity leave from my nursing job — right in the middle of peak COVID season. The world felt uncertain. Hospital days were heavy. Home life was newborn chaos.
Somewhere between late-night feeds and long shifts before leave, I kept searching for boys’ clothes that were classic, well-made, and reasonably priced.
I couldn’t find them.
So I made my own.

that happened fast
To market.. with a baby
What started as a few t-shirt designs quickly took off in mom Facebook groups. Orders rolled in. Then came wholesale inquiries from retail partners. I didn’t have a master plan — just momentum and a gut feeling to follow it.
So we bet on it.
We rented a tiny space at market, packed up our six-month-old baby, and drove to Atlanta not fully knowing what we were walking into — only that we had to show up.
That trip changed everything.

2023 was an unbelievable year for Saltwater Boys Co.
We moved out of our home office and into our first HUGE (to us) office and warehouse. It felt perfect… until we kept growing and someone had to haul a 100-box merchandise shipment up a full flight of stairs. Growth is exciting. Logistics? Less glamorous.
That same year, we landed placement in Ron Jon Surf Shops largest retail location — a full-circle moment considering this all began at our kitchen table just two years earlier.
We weren’t just growing. We were scaling.

Located on Saint Simons Island, we brought our coastal-inspired brand back to the place that shaped it.
Opening our storefront wasn’t about beach traffic — it was about planting roots. Saltwater Boys Co. quickly became a go-to for birthday gifts, baby shower staples, and timeless pieces you won’t find anywhere else. A store built just for boys (with a little something for moms, too).
This was also the year Brandon joined the business full time, officially turning Saltwater Boys Co. into a family-run operation.
What began in our kitchen had finally found its home by the coast — and we were building it together.
Oh and SURPRISE – Saltwater Boy #3 is joining us in the coming year...

In January 2025, we moved into our third warehouse/office in four years — expanding to 5,000 square feet just down the road from our flagship in Brunswick. We needed the space. And there was no chance I was convincing Brandon to haul another 100 fifty pound boxes up a staircase.
Then came our biggest surprise yet — our third baby boy, Jack Reynolds.
In true Saltwater Boys fashion, we opened our second retail location on Saint Simons Island just two days after I gave birth May 2025.
Because apparently, we don’t do anything the easy way.

This year marks a new chapter for Saltwater Boys Co. Our Spring Collection launches with sharper design, stronger storytelling, and the confidence of a brand that knows exactly who it is.
For the first time since 2021, we unveiled a completely new website — built to match the growth behind the scenes and create a better experience for the families who have grown with us.
And in Atlanta, we secured a permanent showroom on the children’s floor — a milestone that signals we’re no longer just showing up to market… we belong here.
What began at a kitchen table is now an established brand with a clear point of view — and we’re just getting started.
